If so, please join us in the tiche studio for another event guaranteed to put a smile on your face: a zero-waste creative workshop accompanied by aperitivo. Learn how to create beautiful bouquets and ceramic-effect vases – and take your creations home once finished. Brought to you by @ticheclothing in collaboration with Sonja of @funkybirdfirenze.
It’s the height of the wedding season here in Tuscany. These elegant events celebrating love are often accompanied by a certain wastefulness, not least in the form of wonderful floral arrangements that are painstakingly prepared and then typically enjoyed only for a few hours, that is, for the duration of the wedding reception. As you know, @ticheclothing is all about circular economy and striving for zero waste. And our good friend Sonja of @funkybirdfirenze is a florist designer who creates stunning floral decorations for weddings throughout the Tuscan region. So the idea for this workshop emerged organically out of our shared interest in the environment and creative passion.
While flowers certainly don’t top any lists of particularly problematic waste, we wanted to find them yet another purpose and a new home. In this creative workshop you will learn a little bit about flowers and receive expert tips on making beautiful bouquets.
We’ll also teach you an easy and inexpensive - but very effective - DIY technique for transforming an old glass container into a faux-ceramic vase. The vase and floral arrangement you create are then yours to take home and enjoy. You’ll get to meet other environmentally-minded creative people, and chat about circular economy and what we as individuals can do so as to put less waste out into the world and live more intentionally.

Se è così, unisciti a noi nello studio tiche per un altro evento che ti farà sorridere sicuramente: un laboratorio creativo a zero rifiuti accompagnato da un aperitivo. Impara come creare bellissimi bouquet e vasi con effetto ceramica. Una volta terminata l'evento puoi partare a casa le tue creazioni. È il culmine della stagione dei matrimoni qui in Toscana. Questi eleganti eventi che celebrano l'amore sono spesso accompagnati da un certo spreco, anche sotto forma di meravigliose composizioni floreali che vengono preparate con cura e poi tipicamente gustate solo per poche ore, cioè per tutta la durata del ricevimento di nozze. Come già sapete, @tiche è tutto incentrato sull'economia circolare e sulla ricerca di zero sprechi. E la nostra cara amica Sonja di @funkybird è una fiorista che crea stupende decorazioni floreali per matrimoni in tutta la regione Toscana. Quindi l'idea di questo workshop è emersa organicamente dal nostro comune interesse per l'ambiente e dalla passione creativa.
Anche se i fiori non sono certo in cima alle liste di rifiuti particolarmente problematici, volevamo trovarli ancora un altro scopo e una nuova casa. In questo laboratorio creativo imparerai qualcosa sui fiori e riceverai consigli di esperti su come realizzare bellissimi bouquet.
Ti insegneremo anche una tecnica fai-da-te facile ed economica, ma molto efficace, per trasformare un vecchio contenitore di vetro in un vaso in finta ceramica. Il vaso e la composizione floreale che crei sono quindi tuoi da portare a casa da godere. Incontrerai altre persone creative attente all'ambiente e parlerai dell'economia circolare e di ciò che noi come individui possiamo fare per buttare meno rifiuti nel mondo e vivere in modo più intenzionale.
